Whats the difference between the 49 and 44 turbo? Which is better for the street and 50lb injectors?

I'm gonna order 50lb injectors, so I'm gonna need to have my chip reburnt, what boost levels should I go with? The chip I have now keeps the boost levels the same through all gears, which I don't like or want for the future. Should I go with min boost levels and then just adjust them with a boost controller?

Is there any other accessories I should pick up while ordering the new turbo?, depending on which one I get.

there is really no difference between the two turbos...the te-44 is not stock appearing and has an efficient bell housing for the intake and the compressor flows like 50 cfm more than the ta-49

both are good for stock D5 torque converters

i have the 50's along with the te-44 and i had a street chip burned from PTE for 93 octane and 20 degrees timing...i can USUALLY get around 15 lbs of boost with no knock on pure 93...my car runs very strong with the chip and no drawbacks...there are several other chip burners that will custom burn you one for your needs...jay carter and red armstrong are good...

Thought I'd add this to help out with the chip boost setting question. The chip that will be reburnt for 50lb injectors is a postons ultrchip with has 7 settings, and is used for 93-100 octane.
