ILL try to post my stuff over here as the car is a HA
anyways
the car was running like crap so i starting dismantling it DP off UP off and changed out the plugs the old ones were r44ts plugs i switched to cr43ts plugs all except 1 HOW THE HECK DO YOU GET THAT #6 PLUG? i found the pcv valve hose had come off. fixed that

the car now idles very very well now. i will actually start on its own when cold and idles down after starting. i have two things now. the car surges at idle in park (prior experiences tell me to clean the IAC VALVE) and i have a strange tapping sound every once in a while i cant quite tell where its comming from its not there all the time its sounds as if something is loose its not a rod bearings cause ist intermittent. i did shut it off and i sounded like a wheel in the turbo maybe tapping?. tomarrow i am replacing the rear breakline bleeding the brakes and i am going to try to build some boost. it wont build any now the tires keep breaking loose and its got 255-60-15s on it!

i also will drive it around the neiborhood after that stuff is done. so i can see if its doing what its supposed to or not.
THIS SITES AND GNTTYPE HAVE BEEN A HUGE HELP TO ME THANKS !! my first turbo car was a 86 tbird turbo coupe. that car was a lot of fun. now i got two more cylinders..
im gonna try to save this WH1 its getting closer and closer to a yes

For the plugs I use a long 18" extension and a swivel.
Use some masking tape around the swivel, socket and extension connection so the socket won't come off while trying to get the  plug out.

The tapping noise is most likely not the turbo.
Could be a sticking lifter.
