My transmission was been rebuilt about 15 years ago and I'm currently rebuilding it. I'm uneasy for the fact that I don't know what the fellow did before and my dad said it wasn't as good as it was before. In the valve body below the plate I took out six balls above the plate case side and I removed three balls next to the valve body. Does any one know if this correct amount? Another question is on the servo shaft, it has one large spring next to the piston and at the end of the shaft they are no small comfort spring. Is that correct? One more question the accumulator on the case side I have one spring and then a piston with tabs on one side, do these tabs point up or down. I took it out and they were pointing up toward the pan, seperator plate.

Any help on these items, would be deeply, deeply appreciated..

thanks

3 in the v body is correct and 6 or 7 in the case besides the omitted tv exhaust ball.will need to see a dig pic of the plate to know if it HAS BEEN MODDED TO DELETE BALLS IN THE CASE OR NOT.
