Well I'm in the process of changing my head gaskets and intake manifold gaskets. When it came to me might as well change my intake manifold and replace it with a v- 3 or another good intake manifold. When it also came to that I want to put bigger valves in my stock heads. But I dont know what size valves I can actually fit on stock 85 heads. I heard that putting bigger valves wake these cars up pretty good. Well I guess my main question is what would be the intake that gives the best bang for the buck and where can I get it. Same for the valves. What valve size "bigger"would be right for my stock heads that wouldn't be over kill I plan to upgrade turbo in the near future to a t60. Or a good aftermarket setup that would wake this car up. And give it some balls.

If you want to stick with the stock hotair setup(or even intercool it), I would go one of Turbomotion's intakes...

As for the valve situation...Unless you are running a 4.1L motor, don't worry about the bigger valves...There just isn't enough room in the 3.8L bore to put bigger valves in...You could fit them in there, but the valve would be too close to the cylinder wall to get proper flow around it...The 4.1L motors bore is .165 bigger diameter and since it's bigger, needs the extra valve size...With the 3.8L and the turbo pushing air through, valve size really isn't the concern...Hehehe, you must've read that in BGC or KB's catalog!!! (Do this and it's good to XXXX hp!!!) Heck, if you put on all their parts in the catalog, you'd have 1500 hp on 17# boost and 93 oct gas!!! yeah, right!!!

There are turbo car's running 11s and even 10s on the stock heads and cam...Don't waste your money...you'd be better off spending the money that it would've taken to put the bigger valves in and use it on a good 3 angle valve job and have the bowl area of the head cleaned up and get the short side radius lowered...that will wake those heads up more than just the bigger valves...

But other than that, just have the heads surfaced, get a valve job, put new springs and seals on it and then drive it like you STOLE it!!!! :D
