valve springs-which ones?

im asking for new valve springs for Christmas and i need to know which ones to ask for. are the kirbans OK? what about the comp cams 979s and 980s? i told my mom the kirbans but that can be changed if i let her know soon enough.

If you are using your stock cam I would vote for the comp 980's, same as 979 except with the dampner spring. Slightly more than stock spring pressures but not enough to worry about. That is what I put in.
