My opinion

Others have tried this before. It limits the amount of fluid charged into the converter. I say FOOWEY. The companies that have tried this before ate bearings due to lack of lube and heat was greatly increased. Go ahead , try it. :) But , no way for us.
 
No, that's quite alright! It sounded hokey to me, I just wanted to hear an expert opinion. Years ago, I had a B&M blown 355 chevy with a T-400 that I accidentally ran 4 qts low on fluid, and it did the same thing these guys are doing intentionally! That baby would crank to 4500, then snap your neck off when it caught! I can see where it wouldn't be good for any lenght of time...
