I'm back into the process of rebuilding my hot air TR project and have a few questions/needing input. I've heard that it does these engines wonders to port the heads and intake. Here's a little info on what I'm doing.
-fresh overhaul on engine
-stock rebuilt turbo w/ custom DP either 2 1/2 or 3" not sure which one I'm gonna fab yet (any suggestions on that one???)
-adjustable wastegate
-TT chip
-stock injectors w/ adjustable FPR
-Walbro FP w/ hotwire
-Comp Cam 206/206 and .439/.439 w/ matching springs
-stock convertor w/ 3.42 rear I think
-electric cooling fan conversion
As you can tell its not going to be a screamer, just a little "warmed over". Would a port and polish on my intake and heads do much to help or not so much with no more mods than what I'm doing? Where are the trouble spots (worst flowing) on these engines? Any input is appreciated. Thanks.
