Wastegate solenoid

While screwing around in my engine compartment the other night I accidentally broke off the nipple that holds the right vacuum line to the W/G solenoid. If I take the two lines and connect them am I okay temporarily? Don't want to overboost. I'm running about 15-17 psi w/ red stripe injectors, adj regulator (forgot what psi), everything else is stock. Thanks, this is a great forum.

I would run, not walk to the nearest place I could fine one. Overboosting is a small word that really means:

1] Blown Head gaskets
2] Broken Internal Parts
3] Misery like you have never experienced it before.
