most of the Ohio gang uses Weber, for example Red Armstrong. they do top of the line work, but they are VERY expensive.

That's cool as long as expensive = quality. Do they stand behind there work well, if there is a problem with the motor, and are they pretty quick getting motors in and out?

I know a few guys down here that have used them. Excellent work supposedly. Took six months to get one of the motors back. They will charge you for the smallest detail and every move they make from what they said. If you have the time and money they will be hard to beat.

a good friend of mine uses them on all his engines he drives from NC to OH drops it off then in a few months he drives back, so I can't say how fast they realy are.

Didn't they build Ray Royer's Stuff?
If so that says it all!

Yes, along with Red's, Terry Houston, and many, many others. Dave [Weber] is a very detailed and experienced machinist. I'm from NE Ohio originally, they've done a few motors for me in the past.

Like any other machining operation, there have been issues over the years here and there, but far less often than most. Typically, their work is top-notch. In general, expect three things from Weber:

1. Top dollar.
2. Properly done, accurate work.
3. A long wait.

Dave usually has quite a bit of the commonly-used Buick stuff in stock [Comp cams, springs, pistons, rings, etc.], too.
