Rather than use the IC hose route, I was thinking of having an aluminum mandrel bent up pipe made up with a bung welded into it for the Propain kit. Anyone done this before? Pros/cons? I like the aluminum idea so I can polish to match my Big Mouth and alum MAF pipe kits.

i would definately do something like that. i was gonna send you the intercooler house too but after i took it apart noyiced it wasnt in very good shape. i didnt really like that idea to much cause it seemed the more you tightened the fitting the more the fitting was gonna pull through the hose.

I dont see any downside. Just make sure the bung is a ways back from the throttle body and you should be fine.
