All....
I am in the process of mini-tubbing my 86 GN and took on the challenge of narrowing a 12 bolt Chevy rear for the car. Along with the narrowing, I upgraded the axle tubes to .250" wall. Welded them yesterday with what I think are great results using Ni-99 rod and a Miller Syncrowave. Purpose of my post is I built a charcoal oven and it worked too good to toss in the dumpster. Added shop air and easy to throttle temp to 500F-600F..whatever. Temp came down from 450F very slowly over about 12 hours. Charcoal not included.
Not going to win a beauty contest, but this baby is free to anyone who wants to come get it or pay shipping...I am on the NW side of Orlando
Regards,
Tom
