I have a brand new lincoln mig welder but I am trying to get an argon cylinder for it. I am looking for a 80 cu-ft tank but I am having problems finding one for a reasonable price. I am going to go for a far shot and as if anyone would have one they would be willing to sell. Empty of course so it can be shipped or know of a place which sells them for a good price. I was really hoping to find a used one but it the price is right a new one will work as well.

We lease/rent ours. No problems with the certifications on the cylinder. Not too expensive(I think about $30/yr). Just trade it in where we rent for a full one.

My cylinder lease this year went from $80 a year to $190 a year!!!!! Needless to say I am turning it in.......empty. Time to purchase one.

Cylinders

I sell them thru my shop for about 210.00 filled(80cf). I sometimes have cylinders dropped off by a friend who scraps the contents of buildings. I send them out,get them recertified and filled and put them on Craiglist for about 150.00 each. If you were local I would get you one cheap. I probably have about a dozen right now. Oxygen,Argon,Argon/Co2,Acetylene,Propane,Nitrogen.I even converted 15 cylinders I had over to Nitrous Plus and fill tanks at home. Big money maker!!!! If anyone is near CT and needs cylinders/gas PM me. Thanks,AJ

What about Tractor supply. They usually have one of those GasPony industrial cylinder exchanges, but you can buy cylinders there as well.

Seems to work for the hobbyist because the industrial cylinder filling places are never open on the weekend when i run out of gas.

I wanted to thank GOT JCE for helping me out. He is an outstanding person and a quality member.
