I am buying the translator plus, if I want to put the box inside the car, do I need MAF extension cable, the spark extension cable or both?

TIA

The cables are call EXTENDER CABLES. I think mine were $15.00 each, but its been a while back.

There is a hole under the PM where the cables can enter the car.

Look under the dash, above and to the right of the fuse block.

I did this and I should have removed the wires from the black plastic tube when going thru the firewall and then re-installed them.

Keep the rubber grommet and re-install it. You may need to make the inside hole just a little bigger. Also after you get it back end use some silicone around the wires to keep the engine fumes out of the car.

I see the cables on the Ramcharger website but do I need one or the other or both? I am guessing both.

Its been long enough that I don't remember. I think there are two cables. What makes this difficult for me was they sent too many cables and I called Mike and returned some.

There are 3 cables.

One to the new 3 or 3.5 inch MAF from the box.

Second one to the existing harness connector from the box.

Third to the module connector for the timing adjustment from the box.

Third one is in short or no supply right now and only involves cutting and splicing one wire on the module.

You need two of the MAF extencer cables. One cable goes to the MAF & the other goes to the original TR harness. I took them out of the convoluted tubing & ran the wires in the tubing I have for my auxillary switches & alcohol injection.
Tie into the spark advance lead at the ECM inside the cabin. I can't remember which wire it is except that it's white.
