Hello guys,
I am wanting my car to run perfect, and I figured If I told some of you message board guru's my current mods, you could help me figure out what i need. Well here they go.
70mm throttle body, ported/polished aluminium heads, 7 step adj. chip, adj. boost control, adj. boost a spark, 3 " exhaust, cold air intake, front mount intercooler and a few other goods, also with stock turbo and injectors. Guys please help me determine what i need to have a very sweet/fast setup. The car runs strong, but i know that there is something that i need to havea sweet setup. i am not trying to have the fastest gn out , just best running
thanks

you have a stock turbo and stock injectors? how about fuel pump?

You have done the air side, 70mm plenum,pp heads, and exhaust.

But what about the fuel side?

i did not do any of to the car, it was done when i got it. im just wanting suggestions on what to do next.

best find out what your fuel system consists of.....fuel pump, regulator & injectors

just assuming that the fuel sysem is factory what do you guys suggest, and can you post links to what you are talking about?
thanks guys

with the other mods listed, one would assume you have an upgraded fuel pump, adjustable regulator, and non stock injectors....take a look at www.gnttype.org and read the recipie section

i think my fuel regulator and fuel pumps are after markets, but i dont think they are adjustable.
I also have the thrasher chip, and it did not work good at all with my car so i put the other one back in.

Fuel pumps are non adjustable (most), after market regulators are (most).

Do you have a Fuel pressure gauge?

You need to put a hot wired Walbro 340 pump in, adjustable fuel pressure regulator, maybe some msd 50's, and a good chip. And get a scantool if you don't have on, that will be a VERY good start. Then you can look at a turbo:)

Edit: And get a good boost gauge if you dont have one!!
