What size brake line fitting for M/C??

I removed my powermaster yesterday evening in prepartion for my hydroboost conversion. Even after a can of wd40 and using a flared end wrench, the front brake line nut on the master cylinder stripped out. So I had to cut the line to get it off. I know absolutely nothing about tread sizes, line sizes, etc. so could anyone tell me what to ask for when I got to oreillys or autozone? (I think they carry that sort of stuff ) THANKS!
