Disconnect the battery.
I used to refurbish firetrucks at Pierce mfg. and that was in the procedures before welding on anything.

Thanks guys. I knew the battery for sure but probably safe to disconnect PL, boost/alky controller . . . Anyone agree with me?

Yea i'd disconnect the PL, ECU, the boost alky controller and battery. and then go to town, assuming the interior isn't in the car.
