whats legal for teck inspection lug nuts???

I just picked up a set of weld draglites and want to make sure i pass tec. this season, do the nuts have to be open ended??? any info appreciated..

lugs are supposed to be open ended, the stud needs to extend into the hex portion of the lug the same distance as its O.D. If you have 1/2" studs, the stud must extend into the hex 1/2". Stock studs on the front and rear are technically too short by about 1/2".

i have longer studs on the front of my gn but looks like i'm gona be upgrading the rears as well thanks for the info really appreciated jamie
