Wheel cylinder's

Ok i know i need the wheel cylinder's from an 85 S10, but what engine should i say it has a v6 or a v8? Does it make a difference? TIA

From what I have seen you need the wheel cylinders from a manual brake S-10. v6 or 4 cyl. it shouldn't matter.

Gbodynutt is correct. S10 with manual brakes.

They never made an S10 with a V8 but I sure wish the did.

How about brake shoes I see Kirban sells a soft compound brake shoe anyone using those and would it be worth spending the extra money on them. Are 85 s-10 the only cylinders you can use? Didn't mean to cut in on your thread but I am going to change the cylinders this winter.

I would have to check to make sure but, I believe it's 84 to 87 or 88??? all use the same wheel cylinder for manual brakes.
