wheels for GN

what is the best size tires and wheels for an 87 GN with out cutting any of the fender away. I would like to get front runners and big ol fat tires for the back. I keep looseing traction. But then again if i where to back off of the gas a little and maby turn down the boost a little and use pump gas and.... sorry didnt mean to ramble on like that >.<

i have 235s in the front and 275s in the rear, only time they rub is if im going uphill and turning while slamming the gas, and its barely their

Anybody else have any sugestions? How skinny could i go for the front for a street car? Sorry if this question may seem dumb but i realy dont know much about street/drag tires.
