When ordering a Torque Converter what info do I need to give to get it matched properly to my car?

I used to work for him until he moved the shop to LI, never had a customer unhappy with their converter while I was there.

Dynotech told me $250.00 plus tax for a used re-stalled D-5.
I am going to buy a stock D5 for now and hope it works.
BTW how do I flush a converter?
I want to make sure it’s clean before putting it onto my Trans.

We sell brand new with chrome moly hub, brazed and bearinged D-5 converters for 330.00 So in turn for $80.00 more you could have a new one that you KNOW has no contamination. If you elect to buy a used one from Eric, cool. Eric is a great guy. I just thought you may be interested in a new one so you KNOW what you have. I do not think Eric would ever do you wrong tho.
Here is a link to the converter. Only difference is they are now Black instead of orange.
