Where do you run the power when converting to a power seat?

I am not sure where the best place to ask is, so I thought I'd try here.

The factory ran it under the carpet coming out a hole cut right under the seat.

That part I know...I was wondering where you get the power from? Do you run it to the fuse panel, or battery or ??? Thanks.

To the best of my recollection there is a power accy tap in the fuse box. Should be a diagram in the owners manual.

I pulled a 87 we4 apart and the power came from a junction block above the fusebox. That whole box was hot. The ground was under seat

So I took the old seat out and sill plate, and guess what....it was already wired for a power seat . I wonder if they wired all the buicks for one. So if someone comes by this thread, check to see if the wires are there first.

My Buick Turbo-T did not come with power seat wiring. But has one now.

Just pulled my interior since it was flooded from hurricane sandy. Anyway my car didn't have power seats, but it is prewired for them
