Where is everybody??? Why aren't they signing the 10,000 people thread??

OK, I started this thread to 'promote' the other thread. Come on people, what happened to the rest of ya. I know there has to be more then 164 people in here. Especially with 1633 views so far. Probably people from other parts of the forum who don't check in here. Like on General Tech, Trannies, Regionals, etc.

I wrote this thread so we wouldn't contaminate the other thread with doubles. To all 164, thanks for representin'!

probably the reason why you don't see 10,000 responses is because there really isn't 10,000 people browsing and posting on these boards...i would be willing to bet maybe 25% of that 10,000 are actually active and posting and such...the others just simply left, made multiple usernames, or whatever and just haven't been deleted...don't expect to see anywhere NEAR 10k responses to that thread

9000 members probably only use the internet once or twice a month...

Out out the remaining 1000, about 500 could be considered "active"

out of that 500, maybe 200 never post, they just "lurk"...

out of the remaining 300, about half won't even see the thread, as they never come to The Lounge, they only read "kill stories" or "tech" or....

Which leaves roughly 150 members that WILL see it, and post...

You got over 160, I'd consider that pretty close to "done"!

Or it means people have read it multiple times to see what the next guy posted. The views number is simply how many times it was read. if I post something and read it 40 times, then I added 40 to the views.

Also when I signed up I checked the members list to see what names were already taken, if you check theres a lot of names who never post, or have like 5 posts<--- mostly trolls

BTW, where in suburban Maryland?? That's where I'm from and grew up. Sure.. a Pontiac guy can count.. still Buick powered.

My older brother, Blown & Injected on this board, original owner of an 86 GN, turned my onto TurboBuick.com

The way he ran the life out of that 3.8 is what prompted me to check out the 3800's and eventually buy my Grand Prix.
