Where is my ECM coolant sensor located?

The ECM doesn't get its coolant temp from the same sensor as the idiot light does it?

im not 100% sure if the ecm/lamp reads from same sensor.the ecm temp reads from sensor at front of engine under up pipe.has single green wire with yellow stripe.

#2 is the ecm temp sensor.........#3 is the idoit light switch.
