I was looking for a cheap FMIC and was wondering how these 2 compare? I am leaning towards the PS, but wanted to get some input. BTW, please do not tell me to just get an expensive FMIC kit from one of the vendors because I am on a TIGHT budget with this car and will never have enough $$ at once to get one, unless anyone wishes to donate to the "Help Mike restore his GN fund". I accept Paypal. ;) :D

Also, I believe Nick M has come up with a way to modify the end tanks on the PS intercooler so you don't have to hack up the radiator support.

Thanks in advance for any advise!

Power Stroke I/C

I have no issues what so ever with the PS I/C, it looks good and is very efficient once installed. If you do go this route, take your time and have a good game plan before hand, and don't chop up your car, unless you just want too of course.

Overall the fit was ok with my install and I used the 3" mandrell bent piping for increased air flow, I ordered all the I/C hoses and clamps from precision.

Total I have about $375-$400 in the set up and I'm very satisfied with it. It can be done cheaper by the way, try to find the I/C in the $100 - $200 range, they are out there. Excuse my spelling, I'm in a hurry and have a meeting in 5 minutes:)

I got the npr for my elcamino only because theres no room in the thin header panel like there is in the buick
