white water rafting

Just unwinding from a day up in The forks Maine did a 12mi stretch on the kennebec river spell check maybe? As I've been in the lodge for a few hrs now sipping captain and cokes lol, but for as a first timer I'm definitely hooked. My dad was the only veteran out of seven of us, I guess they consider that stretch a 3-4 rapid... but battery is gonna die and the lodge is the only spot for any service... Mike

Did it plenty of times. Best time to do it is early spring when the snow starts melting. The water is still cold but a wet suit takes care of that issue.
