Just bought a problem child from a car dealer. 1984 GN with new rebuilt engine.

History: The car is possibly a clone. It had a 87 Gn motor with intercooler and all. Some kid test drove and spun a couple of the bearings. They replaced the 87 motor for a 84gn and rebuilt the lower end. I was told the engine would idle but would not throttle up. He sent it to a couple mechanics and they could not get it to improve. I bought the car, (good price) but it would not start when we unloaded her.

First new battery, then it needed a starter. OKAY now it turns over but will not start.

I will check the fuel lines to make sure it getting gas and check for spark, Basic stating point on any car.

Is there a sensor or part that will keep it from starting.?????

Where should i concentrate my energys.

Use screwdriver in spar plug wire trick to make sure your'e getting spark!

You get fuel when you press the little shrader valve in the rail?

if you got fuel and spark, and it wont fire, check the cam sensor make sure its plugged in, then check the crank sensor.

the car WONT start with the crank or cam sensor unplugged!

I'll be sure to try. I don't know when possibly wednesday.
