you mean as far as someone being inferior to you and they won? or you losing to a REALLY fast car? one time i ran up against a 10.3 @ 128 mph Mustang that did a wheels up the first 100 feet...i ran a 12.5 @ 112 on that run:eek:

then there was this one time where i was racing at the track street race style against this POS rusted out older honda civic...he wanted a 10-car head start so i gave it to him...well upon launch i caught up to him in no time about halfway down the track...but then all of a sudden he started pulling my ass like an LS1 with a S/C!!! he ended up beating me by a car length...afterwards i asked what the hell he had done to his car to do such a thing and he said "150 shot of NAAWWSS"...i was like

Ummm..... ran a stage 2 GN that went a 10.2 to my 10.8 once and ran a Duster that went 10.0 to my 10.7

Last year at Englishtown I had to get a second time trial slip since the final trap was blank on my one time trial run.

So I rush down to the lanes again and explain it all and get to line up with fellow BPG member and Quick 16 runner Rick Martinez in his very very fast V8 Buick GS. Red/Orange car with a huge pro stock scoop on it. :D

When he did his burnout my whole car was engulfed in smoke.

Well I gave it my best shot and ran a 13.5 at 4000lbs. to his 9.9X something or other test pass.

He waited for me a bit down the end of the track. :p

I ran an old dodge truck with 15" mickeys in the back with a custom wood bed, fuel cell, and a blower on it... It ran a 11.1 to my 13.0 (first run of the night). My first loss ever :(

We have Friday night street races for grudge matches and I ran a 60s chevelle (pretty nice, figuring the kid's dad owns a local burger joint and spent near $10,000 on the thing.) Well, found out it had a BUILT 400 and a 150 shot. He got me by a car the first pass while my car was (audibly) pinging the whole track... (d@mn race chip and crappy track gas!) So, I changed chips (to street) and ran again. Better launch and kept up with him. Tried to run a 3rd time and he was out of nos, but his friend would run... OK... His engine was (supposedly) running rough that night... OK... A BEAUTIFUL late 70s Buick with a blower sitting higher than the roof came loping up to the line... (Yeah, rough) Well, I tried my best and got smashed from the lights to the line... Talked to the guy later and he was hoping for low 9s!!! Against a bolt on 6. Not bad, considering.
I try to only race those who I think I can keep up with... (Or those who need a lesson on the grey g-body with a red T on the fenders, haha)

i got my assssssssssssss handed to me by Brian Burnside at the track once.

for those not in the know, he runs an 86 T-type with a stage II single turbo. ran an 8.6 to my 14.0. he was done before i was at the 8th:p

he lifted the wheels and i looked over and about **** my pants.

i was amazed, i meen it looked like a 10 sec car at the most.

maby an 11 sec car w/ oversized slicks:eek:

96 GS NATS

i cut a perfect .500 light & caught this guy sleeping at the light in his GN & ran a 14.97 to his 12-something. my coil pack was going bad. :(
