I know I've seen it before on the site, but of coarse I can't find it when needed:(

Thanks:)

I might be doing one in a week or so. I will take pictures of the process and see if I can add it to GNTTYPE. Or put it on my web site.

Tackled this today and proud to say it was very easy to do.Took off the crossover pipe.Unbolted the oil pan and let hang.Undid the oil pickup, pan fell off.
It already had the rubber seal, but they used the side seals and it looked like that is where it was leaking.I replaced the seal, put main cap back on ussing black silicone were the writeup said.Installed the pickup and pan. Will let it sit for 3 day's to make sure the silicone cures.

Now I found that something is leaking antifreeze on the front of the motor.Damn these things have alot of leaks:(

Best RTV to use is "The Rite Stuff" pressurized cheese wiz style RTV. Use this on the the seal inserts until it completely ozzes out front and back. Its expensive stuff..available at NAPA..but its one of those..you gotta pay to play.

Also helps to use a lot of brakecleaner on the cap and block surface since rtv doesnt stick to OIL.. yeah yeah..where was I when the pages were blank.
