Dyno #'s? Track #'s on spray??

Can i get away with a cowl hood and not that prostreet job?

I've got an 87 GN......

I have not had the car dyno'd. The times were with NOS but doesnt activate till 4500 rpm. The previous owner ran it and it had a 60 ft 1.57 but I have another slip where it went 1.46 but ran slower in the 1/8th. Possible inexperienced driver. It will fit a cowl hood with a shorter air filter.
What are the specs on your 87? Thanks Jerry
