Just looked it up. OK I will check those things and see what I can find out. Thank you for your quick response and patience...

Before I take my car in to get it checked out I thought I would ask you guys for any insight you might have. I hooked a 2004R up to my Buick 350 in my 69 skylark. Had a few issues but all in all it went ok. Now the problem is that the Trans leaks. It looks to be around the pan but I've almost...
I'm looking for a solid and straight pan for a 2004R. I'm just looking for a stock replacement as my pan no matter how much I try it leaks so I've decided to see if anyone has one they could part with....
Finally got everything straightened out. The pin was too short so I welded a nub on the end, trimmed it down a little and now when I shoot air in there it locks up real nice! Thanks for all the help.

Ok, yeah, I've seen that before. I think the issue I had was it was hanging up and I didn't want to get too medieval on it. It's obvious I'm not versed in automatic transmissions and trying to go in with kid gloves. I'm ok with some mistakes if I'm learning how everything works.
Hopefully...
Ok, I wasn't sure if it was recommended to weld on to the end or not. I'll give that a shot before getting a new one.
I've seen those extendo pins that fit on the end too. But that seems like a pain to work with.
Thank you!
Ok, I think I probably trimmed it a bit too much. All the other Ports seem to check out for the clutches, so I'll get a new pin and retry. What would've happened if I left it that way? Would it not shift into third?
so i put air down through the port for the servo, and i see the band move, but it doesn't grab enough to stop it from spinning. I'm really not getting a good seal with the air. If I push the servo in, it locks the band and the shaft will not spin. Do you think I trimmed the servo pin down too...
Ok, got everything in. The inner pieces seem to slide ok. Got the pump put back in and torqued down. Now i just have to find some time to do the actual swap and see how if everything works.
Thanks for all the help
Yeah, lubing everything. So the two valves are meant to move via the spring but the two bushings do not? I got the snap ring on once, but the bushing being held in didn't move so i thought i did it wrong.
Using the ck shift kit items.
Ok, I'll give that a shot. Next thing is I'm really having issues with the reverse boost valve and the reverse boost valve bushing. Do both of then have to move"slide in the pump cover? I'm really having issues getting everything to slide. When i get the tv boost valve bushing against the snap...
