    Sputter Off Idle

ya i got a scanmaster. My tps is .42 and my iac is 30. It's weird, today i had no sputter problem, but the fuel pressure drop was there. It's really annoying with the sputter cause it's intermittent. ??

    Sputter Off Idle

My 86 GN is having a sputtering problem off idle. When I leave from a set of lights i notice it sputters or somewhat hesitates and then it will be fine in the 2500rpm and up range. There was a coil pack put in about 8 months ago from the previous owner. The MAF was changed with a jobber...

    Hard Brake Pedal

I've notice lately on my 86 GN 80000 miles that my brake pedal will get really hard and the car is hard to stop. Then it seems to be fine for a while. I'm assuming it has to do with the booster. I'm just curious as to replace it with one from Kirban, get a rebuild kit or change it over to...

    Hard Brakes

I've been noticing lately mostly mornings or if car has been sitting for a while when I press the brake pedal it is very stiff as if it has no power brakes. I'm assuming my powermaster is going. I'm wondering should I replace the whole unit with the one Kirban sells? Are the rebuild...

    Fuel Pressure DROP!!

I haven't check for kinks. Are you talking about the lines on top of the tank? I guess I'll have to drop the tank to check. The sock should be ok cause I changed it when I put the new pump in 300 miles ago? Anything else I should look for?

    Fuel Pressure DROP!!

I think my fuel pump is screwed. I tried checkin everything. I unhooked the hotwire and checked the voltage and it was at 11volts. With the hotwire it was just over 13volts. Ran 2 wires into the car so I could monitor the voltage and it stayed at 13.2-13.4 volts and the fuel pressure...

Anybody running 245/60s on 15x7s w/3.5 bs in the front?

Depending if your car is lowered or not. My GN has 2" drop spindles and I have 245/50/15 on the front and they rub over bigger bumps or if car is loaded w/friends. I'm assuming the 245/60/15 would perhaps rub depending what shocks you have and how stiff the suspension is.

    Fuel Pressure DROP!!

My 86 GN has a problem with the fuel pressure droppin when it builds boost or at WOT. I have a 255lph pump which is a month old. Adj reg, hotwired pump and green stripe injectors. With a fuel pressure gauge I set it to 44psi with the line off. The pressure would build upon acceleration and...

    Doggy At Wot

I put a new 255lph fuel pump in a month ago because the old used to drop pressure when you'd start driving it. The fuel pump to my knowledge is hotwired. There is a relay in the back and a wire goin to my alternator I think. I'm gonna have to check. If that's the case how can I check...
