    Long story made short.... On a ST300 2 speed, since there appears to be no manual valve body "kit" available, can the governor be modified to provide pressure without it spinning? Looks identical to a Th350 governor... Weld the weights out? GB

    mid season update

    Good news...made it to a final round a few weeks ago - Bad news...I red lit - Worse news...my rear end exploded. Won $300, spent $1000 on new spool, axles, gears,etc. Good excuse to change gears, as I was trapping at only 6800 rpm. The 5.13's should bring her up to 7600-7700 and drop about .07...

    From what I understand, these new cranks are all ground for narrow rods? Are wide journal versions available or is it possible (especially if a regrind is necessary anyway) to regrind them to wide specs? My builds typically don't need a $1500-$2500 billet piece... GB

    Got my bullet back!

    ...and heading to the track Saturday for a few easy 5500 rpm passes before letting it fly on Sunday. The new combo includes 12.2:1 Wiseco flat tops, a Schneider .600"+ solid roller, and a 4000 rpm converter. WIsh you guys could see the grin on my face !! GB
