145mph speedometer overlay

Folks,
Need some help, my 86 GN came with the speedometer overlay which I do not care for. I need to know the proper way to remove it without damaging the dash, etc. Can someone outline the steps for removing this damn thing...thanks much

I did this myself. Everything has to come off. Once it's all disassembled, the overlay has 2-3 pieces of basic two sided tape; not emblem style tape, but standard issue clear celophane tape like you see in an office (1/2" wide) but sticky on both sides. Slowly start to peel one corner of the overlay until you see this tape and peel from the bottom portion so that you're pulling the overlay directly off of the tape. It's not hard, just go slow.
