1985 Grand National. Nothing crazy, just a 500hp weekend driver.

heli coil job was a success:)

I am trying to source a 160 degree tstat that actually fits, and need to mount the led for the secondary pump and I will be done until my ecu gets here

Ripped the carpet out last and discovered this

Just wire wheeled everything down and hit it with some rustoleum
This isnt a permanent fix but I am not tackling that project right now, maybe when I do the body work I will handle that stuff.

well this is due for a few updates:D

carpet is in as well as front seats. Just waiting for everything to settle before I put the rest in/

Got the newer wheels/tires on. Bfg 275 drag radials

Oh and the ecu showed up today, those 275s still cant keep it planted lol

Did some burnouts going 60mph today, and that was only at 22psi. Cars on the highway were entertained.

Developed some weird running issues now though,
it is missing at idle and is building up excessive pressure and it keeps overflowing. Blew the cap off today. I am tryin to eliminate everything before its headgasket time.

I am going to be doing a compression test tomorrow morning, but my guess is that it is only doing it under heavy boost

anyways, pics

oh also got all vdo gauges for it as well. I need to find a smaller tach and start swapping them out.

Left some love stains on your garage door last night as I was peeking in on your Buick. Wanted to be sure it was safe from the asubros.

He ended up selling the car to fund some real estate purchase as a smart investment. Guy here on the board bought it, hurt it bad, and I lost track of him and the car. Miss that car... :(. My first ever turbo Buick!
