Bottom of both doors were rusted abd the bottom of the car was rusty as well hence the pro-15 that was sprayed on the whole bottom of the car to prevent further rust.

I have the correct chip for it, so I will have it tuned and then it will be driveable. Hopefully I can get together with another board member to tune it, within the next week or so. I will keep the post updated.

I am giving it until Monday. If noone is interested I will throw it on Ebay. I am surprised that noone has shown interest for that low of a price. Either way thanks for the views! :)

Looks like a nice car , but rust is the reason, why you aren't getting any bites, I'm in the market right now and intend to keep the car for a while, rust is the cancer of cars.

I completely understand that. That is why I am almost being more negative in the add than positive. Also why I listed it as a driver.I didn't want to mislead anyone for the sake of a sale. For a driver it isnt a bad car especially for only 9000. . But I would never try to pass it off as pristine or clean , the car was in the state of Illinois its whole life. But for a driver and only 9000. I honestly figured it would be a great car for that little money, for someone that actually wanted to drive it and not worry. It is honestly great looking up to like 5', then you can see the poor quality of prep work that was done especially on and around the base of the doors and like the little rock chips on the header that were just sprayed over rather than patching them and then finishing it. If I had known what this so called friend had in mind I would've bought all new metal from members here and had him make it a perfect car. He told me don't worry I will hook you up. I had no reason to not believe him after 30 years of being a stand up guy. I guess no matter how long you know someone you still have to question them. Kinda sucks but what can you do. Either way I appreciate your input, and I thank you for your time. At worst case scenario I will finish it and just drive it until it dies or part it out. I would just prefer to sell everything as a p ackage that someone can make some money on. At 12, 000. Dollars they are getting 3 complete motors, original numbers matchimg bottom end from ths car (that works just had 9lbs of oil pressure when hot) a blown .30 over motor in pieces with good parts. Plus tons of miscellaneous parts. Together someone like intercooled 88 could make thousands off of it , and I would have 2 garages back. But I think that for less than 9000./12000. For car and or car and parts that I will either keep it or go through the aggravation of selling everything myself. I just don't have that kind of time between work and family. I might even buy a few decent rollers and just finish them with the parts I have and sell that way also. After so many disappointments in a project it takes everything out of you. Then you just have to suck it up and find a new project. Thanks for your time again, Bill

On a happier note. If nasty wendy can use any of the parts I have. I would be more than happy to donate them for the sake of feeling like something good came out of this project. I am a firm believer in karma. What comes around goes around, that is why I am not in jail and just walked away from a 30 year friendship. I had plenty of people tell me to sue him or make him make it right. But I cannot even see him or call and try to make it right, because if he said one wrong thing I would definitely end up in jail, just on the principal of it . So with that said it cost me 9000. To find out he is a piece of sh**, and hey I paid him, I did the right thing, he has to live with himself I don't. Everything happens for a reason , sometimes it sucks. But like the case of nasty wendy, bad things can bring out way more positive things. And by no means am I trying to get involved in that thread in anyway. Just making a point! :) I hope everyone has a good night, Bill
