6 by 9's

Hey guys i was just wondering if anyone has six by nine's in there cars. and if so where is the best place to put them? someone told me right above the rear armrest in that little cubby hole just courious if anyone elese had a good suggestions

You can replace the factory 4x10"s in the rear deck with 6x9"s by using an adapter from Metra. Try a search in this forum for 6x9, this subject has been discussed pretty often.

Yeah the Metra kit works great, I ordered my 6x9's from Crutchfield and the kit was free. Would you really wanna cut up your GN?

I would have to say check out Crutchfield. Their price includes the 4x10 to 6x9 adapter and the wiring harness to plug into the original GM speaker connectors. With what is supplied their prices are not bad. It took me a total time of 5 minutes to replace the 4x10's with 6x9's.
