Look what I dragged home today - I hope it's was worth it :) It's got T-tops, AC, 20 years of mouse crap, and 1/4" of bondo on the rear 1/2 of the car  It must've rolled or something 25 years ago. I put cables on it and the engine turned over - and the power windows and lights all work. That's as far as I got. Is it worth saving?

Ooh it's nasty. I'll maybe get some tomorrow. The engine compartment looks totally stock and complete - just nasty dirty. The interior is the same - complete, but nasty dirty. Weatherstripping is cracked as you can imagine. Glass is all good, except for a cracked windshield. Would've been a really nice car at some point. What's with the cheesy rubbery covers on 14" wheels?

They're rare now so I hope you decide to save it. If you take your time it will be worth it in the end. If you decide to part it out send me a PM first please. they're some parts I could use.

First year for quad headlight I dig that. I've seen and worked on worse. Keep it it's a great starter. Lets see a close up of the wheels too, I've never seen them yet, They look like the rubber coated turbo 14" wheels I have but a different style.
Nice find! Canada 'Eh?

Sweet car you found. Are you going to keep it or cut it up its not in that bad of shape. I started with a worst car. If you want to part it out I’m looking for the turbo controller box and a pevr valve.

Interior Pics

Morgan the Cat not included

Engine

Hey is that a 4 bbl
There's also a picture of the wheels. They look like a steel rim with a coating on them? Or are they some sort of hub cap? They look one piece.

I bet they're hubcaps;) Give it a good bath inside and out and post some more pics! I bet it will look 100 times better.

I have a good looking hvac control unit if you need one, a good set of monroe shocks, a crack free driver's exhaust manifold, and a GN cam. Let me know if you need any of it, I'll sell the whole bundle cheap.

I'll keep those parts in mind, thanks. Here's what I've been thinking. I've got a couple of sons, so I might try to make a nice driver out of it for one of them - if they're interested in working on it with me. Otherwise, I don't want to put a cage in my 87 GN, so I've been thinking about putting together a twin turbo V8 for the track only. After I get a few other projects wrapped up I'll look at it closer. I figured for $100 the price was right.

Holy crap you found a Regal with a factory black interior! I'm jealous.

The wheels are called "Polycast". It's a steel wheel with a styled rubber face molded onto it. The trim ring and center cap should be removeable, but otherwise it's all one piece. GM did that on a lot of cars in the '70s and early '80s until cast aluminum wheels became cost efficient.

I have a set of those cheesy wheels they came stock on limited sport coupes. If anyone needs em. Mike

You got it for 100 bucks?

I need some engine parts for my street rod. keep in mind if you change the engine!!!!!

Keep in mind I asked first guys. Aj and I are the ones trying to do R&D on these systems so anything we can get our hands on is extremely helpful to all of us.

10-4 dmarx. I think the wheels would've been pretty cool if they were bigger - and newer ;) They've kind of got the A-Team van turbine thing going on  Oh and as for the price - he is a friend of a friend, and since it was sitting for 20 years, I think he was just happy to see it go to a good home :)
