91 Buick LeSabre 3.8L Valve Stem Height

That 3.8 that I'm rebuilding I had to work on the seats and installed new valves. I can tell by checking another head that they are too high. Does anyone know the valve stem height spec for the 91 3.8L? I guess only machine shops have that book. I want to be close because my rockers are non adjustable. Plus the angle of the rocker tip will be offset to the stem and might wear faster.

I called Component Machine today and the said 91-94 3.8 1.935-1.975 from the spring base to top of stem. That gives .040 play. They where very helpful. I ask them what that cost to have that info and they said about 800 a year. Wow!
