I'm currently running it but not on E85. You can search and find others that have done some upgrades.
Jist of it off the top of my head
Swapped the return line to the vent from engine to hanger. Vent line is bigger than the factory return.
For return:
At engine bay for modded return Ran this fitting (
http://www.discounthydraulichose.com/9069_JIC_x_Metric_90_p/9069.htm?1=1&CartID=0) into the reg and then hose over to factory vent line. Used compression fitting and barb on vent line.
At the tank I cut the necked down portion of the hanger vent line and then slid the hose up on the bigger part of the line that left over after the necked down part is gone and double clamped the hose.
For new vent
Then swapped the vent to the return from hanger to steel hard lines and form them to engine bay. I just disconnected the factory return line to the flex lines on drivers side of the engine bay down low by front of engine.
Pump wise I ordered from Amazon ...was the cheapest and I ordered the pump grommet from racetronix and it fit in min factory hanger pump mount. I spliced and drilled the hanger and epoxied the bigger wires in place and tied into the hotwire kit from caspers.
Of course use the proper size and type hoses for the new duty the new duty the lines are doing.
A year and no issues.
I will say if your vent line is rusty inside (mine wasn't) then of course you run the risk of have that rust scale go into the tank.
