Can anyone tell what this harness is for?

I just got an 87 GN and i'm not too familiar with the electrical side of things yet.
It could be aftermarket, the picture is of under the radio housing.

That is the factory diagnostic port nothing aftermarket.

Absolutely! I wound up getting a different one than i posted about before. I got it from VETKILR at his fathers dealership!
Beautiful unmolested 76k factory loaded GN!
Too bad i cant drive it in this salty crap !

ya well spring is coming. Im getting my very molested TR fuel line fixed tomorrow and im driving it home from the mechanic. So i get to throw around some boost before the car cover goes back on it.

I need new wheels/tires/ ac compressor/ t-top seals as of right now. I bet that list will grow but I have prepared myself for it at least haha.
