Carnage........Whats your take?

... Or is it time to buy a second one...

I know a guy who bought a car that had been on fire but with a mint interior and back to running/driving shape just for this purpose. I think we all end up with more than one of these wallet forsaking cars at some point in time. I haven't seen that yet, but I can envision it happening! Polzin's SII car sits and he's doing a great job and having a good time with that stock appearing E85 car. There may be a lesson to learn with car #2...hmmmm. Go for it!

I am sorry to hear about your misfortune none the less. Go hard; for Iowa!

Lower the Boost 1 psi and get back out there!
Who cleaned up the oil mess you made in the street?
How long are you going to mourn this?
What song were you Boomin' when this happened?
Be glad it wasn't a S2$$$!

Most of it leaked out in the grass, whatever was in the street burned. I have bigger problems that this, and it seems to be an annual thing. Mourning over. What song??? I can't remember. It was loud!

with the way it blew it would almost seem that the billet mains were a waste of time. it dont look like they did a thing for this engine...

...at least the arp main studs kept the billet caps attached....lol. I think this was more a bad crank that was magnified by some detonation....I would like to think if it was strictly detonation, that there would likely be a stretched head gasket first before the crank and bottom end imploded....??

It's hard to blow glued cometics.

Exactly. The bottom end gets it instead of just blowing the hg fuse. Changing hg's does suck but I'd be willing to bet most would agree this is worse.
