I just bought a set of champion iron heads with roller rocker set up brand new from Tom at champion for $1300. I also bought a new ported intake from him to for $325. Your buddy is asking to much for his parts.

Champion is an exchange price. You have to send in your old intake. And if you got heads AND roller rockers for $1300, someone messed up on pricing.

Price for new is $350 plus shipping and a $400 core charge. I watch the market and price accordingly. Dont know how you got away so cheap.

He can ask whatever he wants for them ... if they don't get any movement .. he can decide if he wants to lower the price ... I bet he doesn't have any problems moving this stuff .. new or not

The other MORE IMPORTANT thing to remember with used Champion stuff is ... that he has the parts available to ship RIGHT NOW ... good luck waiting 6 months for Tom to ship you anything !
