GN vs WE4 value?

Here are my thoughts having owned a bunch of both....

GN for sure all things being equal regardless of production numbers also more interested buyers if you are selling a GN.

As it has been pointed out.....unusual colors low optioned cars still are in demand and are a good value.

GN just gets more respect from the public and is the recognized king of the crop (unless its a GNX).

Uh oh... i really hope Heisenberg guy doesnt see this thread he's going to write a mile long post :D :p Him and his "Special T" lol...

Pretty much what the title says. With all else being equal, miles, condition, options etc, which Buick holds the most value now and in the future.

Much prefer the conversation of explaining why it is not a Grand National.
And why it is "Special"
But if you don't mind being one of 25,000 other dolts - have at a 87 GN
Be a part of the fortunate 1547. :D

Ahh..and Chris - I revised the comment of the "Special" T - as I noted in that other thread.
To - "Turbo T'
Although, I still seem to remember some GM reference to "Special T" - I don't can't lay my hands on the piece of literature at the moment.

Since they all get entertained by my multiple posts- I'll make this my final one on this thread.

My list in order of resale / uniqueness or desirability
1 - 1987 WE4 (T Top or Astro)
2 - 1986 WH1 (T Top)
3 - 1986 GN (T-Tops - since they're so Eighties)
4 - 1987 GN / Astroroof
5 - 1987 D87 Silver / Grey
I won't even get into the 84GN, the 82GN or the 81 Pace car replica - since I'm assuming you mean - go-fast.

But hey - all the resale sucks - so what's it really matter.

I like my we4 just because it's a low option car and I've built it the way I think GM should have. No I don't have the best of the best stuff but I did use factory GM parts on it as much as I could. Besides, I didn't get the car to be a full optioned car that everyone recognizes from a mile away. I got it for the motor and body style. The grey interior is a bonus.

Yea,feel you guys on the t types.I just sold my GN back in May. wanted to get back to where it all started for me.a regal.so I looked for a w11 with t tops.to me a T Type will always be a undercover Grand National in my eyes.

If you really wanted to get back to where it all started - why didn't you buy one of these? :D
But I dig the black T-type.
On my wish list.
