how do these run from a roll?

kinda a noob question, but i see that these cars lauch like hell, how do they do from a roll? i personally dont like roll racing, but the way most ricers are around here, thats what ill end up doing. i just got beat by a worked 300zx in my ls1 car so im kinda wound up haha. he was pushing 450 to the wheel and only beat my stock z by 2 cars.

After the lag stops its pretty much a rocket until you let off. Depending on HP you might have to roll into the gas so you dont smoke the tires. Latest kill has been to my bank account:wink: Its funny that almost all import kids wanna go from a roll because "I cant launch it"..............well dont race it then either.

Two things that help out:

1. Learn how brake boost. Basically ride the brakes at a certain mph and give it gas to get the boost up.

2. Rpm! Get a cam that can pull above 6k. You need to be able to make the power up high to keep up with these high reving jap cars.
