Is it possible to check some of the engine sensors thru the ignition module connector? Cam sensor, crank sensor?
Thanks, Dave

Yes you can, you can get raw cam and crank signals as well as the processed (by the module) EST, Bypass and reference HIGH signals.

A portable scope or a good analog or digital meter will work at low rpms or during cranking.

SalvageV6- Thank you- what levels or types of signals should I be looking for- will probably borrow a scope-
Thanks Again, Dave

i made a small male/female breakout adapter that i can insert inline with the ign module to do troubleshooting-------i simply put an led on the output of the cam and crank sensor wires on the adapter------each led blinks while cranking to confirm the sensors are working correctly--------only takes seconds to install and remove-------i use it all the time---------well worth the time to make one..........RC
