No More Emissions Testing!!

OK maybe I'm a touch early, but in WA State this is the final year for 1986 cars and 2011 for 1987 cars. I'm tired of "tuning" my 87GN to make it pass plus waste $15 for testing.

Our bad boys will finally become exempt 25+ years.
Now I hope the State legislators don't do something stupid like do away with the exemption in order to raise more tax revenues LOL.

2011? 2012 will be 25 years for a 1987. But the world will come to an end in 2012 so drive like u stole it.....:tongue: Same here in CT 25 years. So I guess the question is does the car need to be older then 25 years or at 25 years?

Dan is right.... odd number year gets tested in odd number years, so 87's wouldn't require testing in 2012 which makes 2011 the last year.
