Pop_ups from Destroyads.com---anyone get these every day

Every morning when I come home from work I log on (cable),,but befor I log on I have like 10 popups from this company,how do I get rid of them ,,I have cleared the cookies ,cleared the history..
please help,I have popup manager with the little smiley face..if that helps any

I'd go to http://ww.lavasoft.de and download Ad-Aware. Run that puppy on your machine and make sure you don't have any malicious spyware running.

Go to:

and download their AnalogX Pow. It's a popup stopper that I happily use.

When you first get it you start to add popups as they come up...eventually you have them all stored in this little program and the popups you have chosen won't reappear.

For Windows XP, should be similar for other versions of Windows:

Click START,
Click CONTROL PANEL,
Click PERFORMANCE AND MAINTAINANCE,
Click ADMINISTRATIVE TOOLS,
Click SERVICES,
Scroll down to a file named MESSENGER and double click to open,
Under the GENERAL TAB, find START UP TYPE,
Click on the drop down menu and select DISABLE,
Click on APPLY, and then OK.

You are done.
Screw those spammers - they use the messanger service to access your machine, by disabeling the service they cannot get thru.

ITs still happening ,also installed the POW as stated above,that doesnt help either ,it seems to not recognise it with the POW software....WTF is going on....

I turned the messenger off and I am still getting pop ups. I never asked for these. I guess I'll try the link to see if it works for me.
I'll let you know if it works.

You undoubtedly have spyware installed. As stated previously download Ad-Aware and RUN IT. It'll scan your system and alert you to any/all spyware hiding in your machine. Remove all of it.

It sounded like those annoying windows messenger pop ups.

I hope removing the Spy Ware thing works.

I have had some trial software that, when the trial period ended, kept poping up renew now type messages.
