Where is the best place to hook the chains when pulling it out?

Are the heads still on? If not use two head bolts and pull it out that way. If the heads are still on i've heard of people using exhaust studs . I think when I put my block in my car I used one of the front accessory bolts in the front of the block, and a bolt in the back of the pass side head. I suppose you could use a bolt on the intake as well or run a strap under the doghouse.

I would remove the front of the car, bumper, core support, rad...... Its a PITA to say the least. I would get a bolt in the back of the head and one in the front.
