Rear end options

ta 49 turbo,duel nozzle alkycontrol,mildly ported stock heads,stock motor,10.5 pro-torque lu 3200 stall,42lb injectors,340 fuel pump,drag radials,tt 5.6 chip,stock maf,410 rear.to give you an idea,i have been 1.58 60ft leaving on 1psi,went 1.55 with a few more lbs,and still back-halfed 25 mph using od.the new combo has already run 10's on the 2nd pass with 19 psi/18 timing and has a 4.56 rear with a rpe motor and a dave husek billet trans with a 9.5 ptc nl, t-netics billet 64mm s-trim.60ft is already 1.52 off the footbrake.

That's gettin it. What rpms are you turning with the 4.56s on the big end or are you going into overdrive? With my car in third I'm out of power with the stock cam with the 3.42s on the big end.

with the 4.56 rear gear on the new combo im in od around 100mph depending on shift rpm.it pulls really strong up top and trap rpm is around 5000 still cruises real good with the od.on the stock combo with the stock cam,and the 410's, the car was in 3rd till 115mph or so before the shift into od,but still trapped 120-125mph on the 49.
 
when i was running the 3.42 i ran a taller tire and a lock-up but really had to bring the lock-up in late,it was a balance of not to late and not to early,to avoid the car from falling on its face.
