What's up guys, I am looking to purchase a rebuild kit and hard parts from CKperformance. I am curious to know if any of you know of a good transmission shop for the 2004R to perform the installation within the area.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm going to contact a local builder that I was referred to and go from there.

JD doesnt build them , he has a builder that he uses. I don't know who it is but he could tell you.

Ivan at Tranny Tech located in Hialeah. I've heard of his shop on the yellowbullet forum as well as from a couple members on this forum. They all vouch for his 2004R builds. I'm going to be doing my tranny there once I drop my engine in a few weeks.

Thanks! I got the same recommendation a while ago. My project is stalled (time and money). Hope they're still around when I'm ready! Please post an update when you get yours back and installed.

I finally had some free time and paid Ivan at Tranny Tech a visit. After speaking to other GN owners in the area that vouched for his work, I've decided to have my 2004r built by him. The guy knows his shit when it comes to the 200 and I rather have a local builder that is experienced in the 200 in case any tranny problem should arise.
